ABOUT
Staci Johnson wasn't always the wife, mother and physician she is today. She was born and raised in Southern California, but headed east after high school. She graduated with honors and received both her B.S. Degree and her Medical Degree from Howard University and Howard University College of Medicine respectively.
Her diversified training has included King/Drew Medical Center, UCLA, USC, the VA system, Orange County Mental Health, Healthcare Administration and the California Correctional Healthcare System. Dr. Johnson is also privileged to be a Diplomate. She completed the rigorous task of becoming Board Certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Johnson understands that life issues and mental health issues collide at times and require competence, honesty and compassion to separate the two. She believes willingness, honesty and accountability provide the proper foundation for healing. Her candor and wit create a genuine therapeutic atmosphere while her faith based approach provides compellingly encouragement. She helps clients understand that change is not without challenge and requires commitment. She knows when to push, when to pull and when to hold. She desires to see people live out their possibility and their promise. If you are willing to do the work, she is willing to work with you.
