My name is Helen, owner and operator of Massage Essenz! After 31 years of working at Duke Hospital as a medical technologist, I decided to take a more "hands-on" approach to helping people. I integrate my medical background in my approach to massage therapy and helping clients find relief. I became a licensed massage therapist in 2010 and started Massage Essenz in 2012. My goal as a therapist is to reduce chronic pain and improve quality of life for my clients. As a small business owner, I have the advantage of providing dynamic personal and individualized care.

Dr. Swiner is available to see all of our patients for virtual visits (via computer or smartphone) for non-acute, chronic disease follow-ups and med refills.
